Rim manufacturers usually only approve their wheels for vehicles they have already measured. For young brands this data is often still missing – in that case a winter rim without a wheel certificate must be presented for inspection in Switzerland. We measure and document the combination ourselves so you can drive inspection-free. For electric and hybrid models we additionally check load rating and load index, because battery and all-wheel drive significantly increase the vehicle weight.

Are the wheels inspection-free?
Yes. Every combination is documented with a wheel certificate from our sister company Schweizer Felgengutachten. That means no MFK inspection visit is needed.
What do I need for an enquiry?
Make, model and the type approval number (item 24 in the vehicle registration document). If it says “IVI”, the Stamm number; if it says “X”, the COC document. You can upload both directly in the enquiry form.
